Pumper 293

293 was removed from service on June 30th, 2008.  It formerly served Station 2's first out pumper and the second out pumper at Station 1.  293 carries a maximum of 4 people: Driver, Officer and up to 2 firefighters on the back, all of which can talk to each other through a closed intercom system. It has a 1000 gallon tank with a 1000 GPM pump. The business end of 293 includes a booster reel 2 1 3/4" attack lines, 3 inch attack line and 800 feet of 5" supply line.  293 also carries AFFF foam. 293's responses include vehicle fires, fire alarms, and other fire related calls.

Emergency warning devices include: A light bar, red rotary lights on the sides of the hose bed, amber strobes on the back, assorted other strobes and red MARS lights. It also has a Code 3 siren and speaker along with air horns along with a Federal Signal "Q".
