Utility 1

Western Wake Fire Rescue took delivery of the replacement for the previous Truck 1, which was involved in a motor vehicle accident on March 26th, 2003.  Truck 1 is a 2003 Ford F-150 Super Crew 4x4 powered by a 5.4 Liter V-8.  Truck 1 is mainly used for personnel and equipment transport.  Warning devices were installed by the members of the department, and include a Code-3 MX-7000 light bar, 4 way corner strobes, red micro-thin grill strobes and audible electric siren.  Truck 1 was placed in service on June 6th of 2003.  We want to thank Dail Stephenson of Classic Ford-Lincoln-Mercury of Smithfield, NC for his assistance with the purchase of this truck.
