SS-20

Special Services 20 (SS-20) is a compliment to Wake County's firefighter rehabilitation unit (SS-19) and was located at Station 1. SS-20 is a 1996 Wells Cargo tandem axle trailer. This unit was towed to any mass incident where it is deemed necessary by either: Car19, Car 190 or Car 290. SS-20 was also used as a mobile command post for special events and is equipped with radio and cellular communications equipment along with dry-erase boards on all walls. SS-20 carried a compliment of folding chairs and tables along with a generator.
